Hall 1

Ground floor, perfect for children's parties & fayres
  • Located on the ground floor of the annexe 
  • Size: 12x8 m
  • Facilities: Stackable chairs, numerous foldaway tables, blackout blinds, air conditioning, upright piano
  • Adjoining kitchen hireable for catering provision (note: any professional catering must be provided by us)
  • IT and AV: ceiling mounted data projector (VGA or HDMI) suitable for movies, built in amplifier and speakers for playing music from your phone via Blu-tooth
  • 15A socket for small (less than 10ft tall) inflatables
  • Capacity: Parties up to 60.  Fayres can fit roughly 20x6ft tables with customer aisles.  Fayres can also use adjoining wide atrium for further table space. 
  • Suitable for: Birthday parties, life event parties, Christmas fayres, fundraising events
* Note that as The Spire is owned by the Methodist Church, alcohol is not allowed on the premises and gambling is limited to on-the-day raffles and the like. 

Hall 2  (a + b)

First floor hall ideal for children's parties.
  • Located on the first floor of the annexe
  • Dividable into 2 medium sized rooms via a soundproof, lockable, foldable wall
  • Size: 12x6.5m (whole)
  • Facilities: Stackable chairs, children's size chairs and tables, foldaway tables, blackout blinds, air conditioning, craft sink, adjoining children's sized toilets
  • Adjoining kitchen hireable for catering provision (note: any professional catering must be provided by us)
  • IT and AV: ceiling mounted data projector (HDMI) and pull down screen suitable for movies (will need your own boom box for sound)
  • Capacity: Parties up to 40
  • Suitable for: Birthday parties, life event parties
* Note limited headroom - not suitable for bouncy castles!

The Rose Hall

Our largest space - ideal for important events
  • Located on the first floor of the original building
  • Size: 20x14m with huge headroom
  • Facilities: 250 lightweight hi-stack chairs on trolley system. raised stage area,  a variety of tables including large circular tables for seating over 100.  Raised platforming area at rear for seating or display.  Full blackout via electric blinds.  Underfloor heating, ventilation with cooling
  • IT and AV: Built in twin projectors, professional quality amplification with simple inputs for playing from your phone, fully dimmable lighting, front and rear laptop inputs (HDMI)
  • Professional PA system for live bands
  • Capacity: up to 250 people
  • Suitable for:  Life event parties with live music or disco, trade or speciality fayres, fundraising events, etc.

Wesley's Cafe space

Already set out for "cafe style" parties!
  • Located on the ground floor of the original building.
  • Available for after hours hire, with or without catering.
  • Size: 15x8m seating area with side circulation spaces
  • Facilities: Already set up for relaxed, cafe style parties.  Let our team serve your refreshments.
  • IT and AV: Various "mood" lighting options. Portable projector and amplifier available on request. 
  • Capacity: up to 60 seated around tables and on sofas
  • Suitable for: Life event parties, community meals, etc
